OUR VOLUNTEERS

  • "We indeed have different battles to fight. These children fighting big battles were born with special needs. Still, they need what we do: to be valued, loved, accepted, and included. We may not be able to change them for the world, but definitely, we can transform their worlds."

  • "I'm truly thankful to the Agapay Foundation for giving us the chance to lend a hand and for choosing Divine Grace Love of God as the recipient of their supply donation project. As a Sunday school teacher, it greatly helped in providing and serving a better standard of learning. Our hearts are warmed by seeing children smile and enjoy the supplies they have been provided.

Again, we want to express our gratitude and appreciation to the Agapay Foundation for providing resources for our Sunday school program. We sincerely appreciate the donation from the Agapay Foundation and pray for continued growth and success so that you can continue to provide help and support. "

  • "I’ve always dreamt to help even in a simple way, and I am beyond thankful for Agapay Foundation and to Jesus Never Fails church as I became a part of the outreach program. Not all of us have been given an opportunity to have a good life. Some people are less fortunate and I saw the need to give and help when we visited the small community in Pasong Santol. The happiness I felt at that moment by giving rice with hope and salvation through God's word is immeasurable. Life is too short, so we should create a memory that matters to the Lord and has an impact on the community. Thanks, Agapay for partnering with our church to be a bridge of God's blessing to others! God bless us all!."

It encourages us to help others more. May the foundation's efforts to help the less fortunate never cease."

  • "What I like most about Yokly is that it allows you to be part of something bigger than yourself through the Agapay Foundation. I am thankful to the people behind the organization, especially to Dan, for giving me the chance to join them in sharing the joy of giving at Ahon Community Care Center. With their support, I feel hopeful that the Ahon Center will be able to help more abandoned children gain opportunities necessary for them to have better lives."

  • "Being the bridge in giving help to the lola's and the nuns of Tahanang Mapagpala brings joy to my heart. In doing this I realized that we may be in their shoes when we grow old. They say 'Tomorrow is uncertain', it is indeed. We will never know if we are going to grow old alone or if our loved ones will take care of us or if they are still around then. It will be wonderful to think that there are foundations like the Agapay Foundation and its people that will lend us a helping hand and give us something that can help us get through even in the last days of our lives. Life is beautiful, and it will be more beautiful if we spend it with the heart and compassion for the people around us. Thank you Agapay Foundation for this opportunity!"

  • "It has been a great opportunity to share the same passion for volunteerism with Agapay Foundation. In behalf of the kids of ACCC, we are very thankful to Agapay for being God's pipeline of blessings. As Elizabeth Andrew said, Volunteers do not necessarily have the TIME; they just have the HEART. Thank you for the heart that gives back and the passion to be the catalyst of change."

Thank you Agapay Foundation for always giving us opportunities to give for a better tomorrow. Working with you is always a chance to bring hope and smiles to those who are in need."

  • "We live in the downtown area of the city and delivery vehicles are rampant. Seeing the children's puppy eyes whenever someone in the area receives a delivery is downcasting. So, when I was given the opportunity by Agapay to at least share those delicious meals with the children, I felt it was a great privilege to see excited smiles and satisfied faces. But since I underestimated the number of children in our Barangay, we are only able to provide 1 Jollibee meal for each family, it was disheartening still to see that they have to share it with their siblings. However, these children though having to share their food with others have shown genuine happiness and appreciation for what they have received and somehow that was contagious! I am extremely gratified for the opportunity to be a means for these children's satisfaction. "

  • "Now that the schools are permitted to resume face-to-face classes even if the COVID case is still there, the students are more prone to illnesses. I am happy that the Agapay foundation became a tool for the specific Grade 1 and 4 students who occupy this room to be more secure while attending their classes. As a mother, I know how important it is to know that my children are safe whenever they leave our house, especially during this time of the pandemic, and the same goes for the parents of these students. I hope that the Agapay foundation will be more blessed so that they can continue to reach and help those people who are in need. I am really grateful for the immediate action in bringing security to the current and future students who will use the classroom."

  • "When the Bible speaks of love, it's not all about us receiving, but it has everything to do with us giving. Volunteerism demands time and effort, often at a personal cost, but it's a responsibility I was glad to take knowing that I can do something to help meet the needs of the people especially the underprivileged ones in my community, not just physically but also spiritually.

On behalf of Jesus Never Fails Church, we are delighted to have Agapay Foundation's support for our project. I'm grateful to be a part of an organization that actively encourages us to take an initiative and seeks out ways how to provide assistance to those in need, in any way possible."

  • "This is the first time I have volunteered to conduct a give-back activity. But even before the activity with just a little I have, I always have been extending my hands to help random people I saw in the streets. Whether to kids or elderlies, I pour my support into the ones in need. I have faith in humanity and help is always fueled with pure kindness. Helping may be a bit tiring but all of these outweigh when you see people genuinely smiling. I encourage people to volunteer. You don't need to have much to give help. In every way and any way and with our wills, we always have the ability to help."

You should not take a step back, but be brave in lending a hand to help. Heartwarming is the exact description when you see a smile on their faces. On behalf of our community affected by typhoon Karding, I would like to acknowledge the kindness of the Agapay Foundation, extending their help to my fellowmen. You just didn't help them. You

implant great learning to them, that sharing is the least we can do to make this place better. Cause no matter how hard the situation, be grateful and always trust in Him."

  • "Although this isn't my first time putting together a give-back project for a community here in Davao, the activity still warms my heart. I always feel rewarded for being able to give back to my community. I guess it's my love language - to give and help more than taking. I started joining different charity organizations when I was 16, and I always think that volunteering should be a baseline expectation of everyone as a member of society. I am grateful to be working with a company with the same values, mission, and spirit of giving back. My first project with Yokly and Agapay Foundation gives me a sense of purpose and identity. The project also proves that many people will be more than willing to help if you give them a chance, with over ten volunteers, two brand partnerships, and the most responsive and accommodating barangay leaders who helped me with the event. Through this project, we have shown love in action and reminded 100 families that they are not alone during these difficult times (May Ka-Agapay). I now feel more empowered and fulfilled. And for that, I'll be forever thankful for the opportunity."

  • "Teaching faith education to children is so dear to me. During my college years, I taught in the children's ministry of our local church, every Sunday, so I am fully aware of how it feels to want to help but I lacked the means to do so. However, I was given the opportunity by the Agapay Foundation to finally carry out the ideas I had for them. My heart is filled with such delight when I saw the children's smiles while handing out to them the items. It felt so fulfilling.  I couldn't express enough how grateful I am to Yokly and the Agapay Foundation for having such good leaders with a heart always ready to give."

  • "My thoughts about this project are more on how it will become beneficial to the students in the future. I have always been wanting to do some community outreach activity, however, my schedule and resources are not susceptible to provide. With the help of the AGAPAY Foundation, I can provide help in my community. Because of that, I am always grateful to the company for giving me a chance, and trust that I can do it. Hopefully, I will be able to introduce more organizations that AGAPAY can help with."

  • "It has been a while since I have been able to join an outreach activity or a big group of people. It was fated that I get to join this event, as being able to engage with people like this breaks the mundane of the virtual world I am so comfortable with. The rice given to the community we helped is timely since some of the participants were laid off from their jobs and even exclaimed praises to the Almighty as we each handed them their bags of rice. • "One of the many reasons why I chose to be part of Yokly is the vision and mission of the company. The impact that we give to the Filipino community through Agapay Foundation. I personally suggested to the Dumaguete group to give donations to the Pedia Ward Patients of Negros Oriental Provincial Hospital. As a student nurse rendering my OJT to this institution many years ago, I know that the people who come to this hospital are in the worst condition. Most of these people come from far-flung areas of Negros(5-6hrs away). The donation we gave them such us toiletries, food, water, alcohol, and masks will certainly give them comfort and take away the worry of not having clean water and food to eat during their few days of stay in the hospital. Thank you, Agapay for making this event possible!"

I've always felt good and will always feel good about helping those in need, especially when you're aiding older people. As opposed to other persons in need, they are the most vulnerable because they are too old to hold down a respectable job and their bodies may no longer be able to do demanding jobs."

  • "To be honest, I was quite nervous about this event since this was the first outreach program that I proposed to Agapay but thankfully, it was a success! From buying the things needed to preparing, and implementing the program, it was tiring but fun! Especially when I saw the smiles on the kids' faces and heard their "Thank Yous", I know they were glad that we made a way to reach and help them. Thank you Agapay Foundation and Mister Dan for giving me the opportunity to help these children and cheer them up. Thank you also to the people behind this event, this won't be possible without all of you! Volunteering felt great, mentally and emotionally. I will always choose to help and give better lives to those in need. Indeed, happiness comes from serving others."
